Music Group

Our music group plays on the first Sunday of every month for the Family Celebration service, supported by a non-robed choir. This generally involves accompanying the congregation through the hymns and songs in the service as well as leading the Gloria and blending with the choir for music sung during communion.

At present, the line-up consists of keyboard, strings, brass, percussion and woodwind instruments. A mix of adults and teenagers are involved, and all music is provided.

These family services provide the opportunity for any musicians within the church family to come together and contribute to the worship. The aim is to include everyone with something to offer; whether you'd prefer to support the congregation in modern songs by Stuart Townend and Graham Kendrick, encourage younger members in more child friendly songs, or lead people of all ages in clapping away to an African chant, our aim is to make Family Celebration services accessible for everyone!
