Many of the younger children in our congregation attend Cam Hopton C of E Primary School. The school has close ties to the Church and Foundation Governors are appointed by St George's PCC to serve the school.

We enjoy welcoming the pupils and staff of our school into church to celebrate the beginning and end of each school year, and for services to mark the major Christian festivals of the year. A team from St. George’s congregation goes into school weekly with the ‘Open the Book’ scheme, and we go in to lead occasional collective worship sessions.

The school also supports us by allowing us to use its premises for occasional church related social events.

Cam Everlands Primary and Cam House Special School are also within the parish.

Rednock is the the secondary school choice for many students in the Cam and Dursley area, though children from Cam also attend other local schools, e.g. The Shrubberies Special School, Katherine Lady Berkeley's, Vale of Berkeley, Marling, Stroud High, Wycliffe, Dursley C of E Primary, Cam Woodfield Infants and Juniors, North Nibley, Slimbridge, Coaley, Uley and Nympsfield.
