Safeguarding

Safeguarding is very important to us all in the benefice and the safety and well being of everyone is essential.
The parish of Cam: St George and the parish of Stinchcombe: St Cyr are committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults.
We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer, (PSO)

Mrs Sara Smout, 01453 542619.  For any safeguarding matters in our churches please do contact Sara.

Please see the buttons at the bottom  of this section to view our current Safeguarding policy documents.

The Diocese of Gloucester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA.
